The MoU represents a key step toward diversifying natural gas supply sources and expanding cooperation on LNG shipments, as part of Egypt’s strategy to secure energy needs through multiple supply channels, while continuing efforts to boost domestic production.
The agreement paves the way for the development of a world-class coastal urban project in the Samala and Alam El-Rum area on the Northwestern Coast in Matrouh Governorate.
